Digital Commons is an Institutional Repository offering from ProQuest, powered by the bepress software. It is an OAI-compliant service allowing users to include a wide variety of publication types including conference papers, pre- and post-prints, book chapters, journals, presentations, reports, monographs, video files, data sets and executables and other grey literature.

Digital Commons is a fully customizable hosted solution, implemented within 1–2 weeks. Some of the features offered include peer review software, customized controlled vocabulary picklists, automatic conversion to PDF, access controls, Personal Researcher pages and extensive push and pull e-mail technology.

Sites subscribing to Digital Commons include Auckland University of Technology, Southern Cross University, Bond University, University of Auckland, University of Wollongong, Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington. We also have sites worldwide, including in the UK, the United States, Mexico and Japan. Edith Cowan University will shortly come on line, with Charles Sturt mentioned as a possibility in the near future.
